Retro Ruby & Diamond Brooch

14kt rose & yellow gold w/ platinum retro brooch with diamonds & rubies. Circa early 1940s. Designed as a floral spray design. Each flower head is comprised of 5 round rubies (25 = approx.1.25 cts) and a single old mine cut diamond. Further set in a platinum row with a single round old european cut diamond approximately.85 carats & i in color si2 in clarity. The rest of the brooch is set with 26 square cut diamonds approximately.50 carats in total weight and 12 round rubies of graduated size approximately 1.15 carats in total weight. The brooch measures 51.5mm x 34mm & has a total weight of 25 grams. Beautiful retro piece & a lovely design!
